Waiting for 180 days is hard....but its even harder for folks like me, who are waiting for 140 approval..The way things are, looks like it sgonna take much longer than 180 days for 140 approval...Only then I can even think of using AC21....But no complaints...Patience pays...:)
You are not as bad as you think. Read USCIS guidance on the subject. If your I-140 is not approved by 180 days, you can still use AC21. In that case, the adjudicator while looking at your I-485, sees if filed I-140 was approvable. If so, you are good to go, provided you can prove that you have a new same/similar job offer.

Thanks for the info Ram Nara , so on your passport you just have the B1 stamped ?Did they question you at port of entry? Any documents?

I was told that the 'successor of interest' form will take care of the Labor, but the 140 will need to be filed again.

If one is applying I 140 and I 485 concurrently, will EAD come after I 140 gets approved or EAD will come irrespective of I 140 is approved or not?

Also if I leave this employer and work with another employer on AC21, Will the USCIS still question me if they do a full inquiry on the company (FYI it is a staffing/consulting company)

If you are running out of time to save Candian PR under 3 years out of country stay rule, then only we have to think this canda stay.
If you can stay here and still save candian PR for this 1.5 years, just get into the system and try out here in US. That is the best bet rather than not trying at all.
Who knows you may get Labor/I140 in this 1.5 years and may get everything well.
DOL procedures - We really do not know how serious that **Supervised Recruit** is, unless it is experienced by people.
If you loose candian PR in 6 months or so, unless you land there, then we have to think about it.
Now please give me green, as i do not have many; ;)

Be careful with your answer Owen... You already know what could happen with the thread... If everything goes as planned I'll be giving it a work out while shooting a gymnastics event this weekend. I can easly take thousands of shots during the event...
Last year I had to get up close and use a 50mm 1.8 lense with the d200 due to the poor lighting. I am hoping that I will be able to use the 70-200 2.8vr lense along with the d300. I have to stay a bit behind in the technology, so that I can afford new equipment ;) Who knows maybe I'll be able to pay for a good chunk of it with sales from the event ;)
I hope that it performs better in the high iso ranges as I have read.
I am excited... it's an addiction

We got "Approval Notice Sent" emails 6 days back. I received my EAD 3 days back but haven't received my wife's yet.
Has anyone filed for Replacement EAD? Do we need to wait 30 days from the date we received the approval email? How long does it take usually to receive a Replacement card?
Please share your experiences.

Usually when a lawyer gets blacklisted, there's lots of chaos. The lawyer's new reputation spreads like wildfire and there's a lot of staff changed. A lot of clients fall out.
In my case, I kept good relationships with other clients of my lawyer. I also became good friends with my lawyer's secretary due to being a customer for over 5 years. Yes, that's unfortunately how long I've waited.
All of them told me the same story. Too many miracles, case got investigated, blacklisted.
Ontopic: any other opinions please? A simple what is involved in the process would be greatly appreciated.
Did they not drop all the charges for now (even though the charges were true)? So why is your lawyer still docked? Maybe he no longer is, unless his "miracles" were different from Fragomen.

Hi,
I received RFE on my 485 for I94 copy. My situation is below
I travelled to Tijuana, Mexico from San Diego by road to request
for new I94 at the US Port of Entry at San Ysidro, Tijuana as my old I94
was issued only until PP expiry date but since i already had a valid I94 on H1B notice, The officer didn't issue a new white I94 card even though i requested for one. Also, The officer took my earlier old white I94 card, so i don't have one with me now though i have a copy
of it. Also USCIS is asking for a detailed explanation on why new I94 was not issued at POE. please advise on how to respond to this RFE

Yes i do have soft LUD on my 485 applications@TSC on 04/29/2009.
